It's Santa!!!

We went to see Santa at the mall today and Warren and Macie did great! Trish sat down with Warren last night to talk about Santa - explaining about the toys, reindeer, sleigh etc. He didn't really seem interested at first. But then she found a video on the internet of Santa driving a tractor - then of course he was all about Santa:)
When we got there today, I unbuckled Warren from the stroller, then went to unbuckle Macie. Before I even finished getting Macie out, I turned around and Warren was already sitting on Santa's lap!
We weren't able to get a picture of them both looking at the camera but I think this one is great. Macie is wondering "why does Santa look like Pawpaw?":)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Warren enjoying his Thanksgiving feast at school.

Picnic

Enjoying some yummy cheese boo boos (as Warren would say)!!

I heard these two laughing the other day. I walked into find this and Warren telling me "I sit in Mae mae's lap"!
What to wear, what to wear?!?!?
I think as Warren gets older, his tractor obsession becomes worse. He put two of his tractors in his bed the other day, which isn't too weird. But I was watching him on the monitor later, and he actually tucked one of the tractors into the blanket and told it "night night":)

Big Boy Bed Dilema

I've been putting off moving Warren into a big boy bed since he hasn't tried to climb out of his crib yet (surprisingly). But my mom and I took him furniture shopping the other day and he seemed pretty excited to try one out. Unfortunately, I had no idea how expensive beds and mattress were! So John brought home a set of bunk beds from Ocean Pond. They are actually old military bunk beds (yes, Ocean Pond has alot of history out there:) They are still in pretty good condition, I just need to sand and paint them - which I enjoy doing projects like that, so bring it on! But the down side is that since they are military beds, they are not standard size. A twin bed is 39x75, these are only 30x75. So of course no local places carry these types of mattresses. I found a place online that carries them and will ship to our house, but I can't bring myself to order them. Reason being - apparently military beds are also the same size as prison beds!! The place online is for "prison mattresses"!! I just keep seeing myself trying to explain to our UPS guy why he's delivering prison mattresses to my house!
So I think I'll still fix the bunk beds up, but just take them back out to Ocean Pond for when the guys stay out there. For now, we converted Warren's crib into a daybed (which was just removing the front piece off). Tonight is his first night sleeping in it this way and so far so good. He hasn't tried to get out of it once, nor has he falling off:)

Misc Pics from my phone

Warren thought Macie should wear daddy's hat
Warren trying to escape the doctor's office - not a pleasant day:(

Macie hasn't really showed much interest in wanting to crawl (probably because when she wants a toy, she just screams and Warren brings it to her:). But she really likes standing or jumping in her jumparoo. Who knows, maybe she'll just skip crawling and go straight to walking!
