John and I started our spring garden about two months ago. We planted the potatoes first (since they could handle the chance of a freeze). Then we did the rest later - acre peas, butter beans, peppers, squash, cucumbers, tomatoes and watermelons. It's all been grown organically, so far all the bugs have been kept at bay. And thanks to the dogs, we don't have to worry about rabbits, deer, etc sneaking in the fence. Somebody does need to get busy weeding, though.
The potatoes did great! Look at the size of that new potato! The rest is looking great as well and should be ready for picking in a month or so.
We also starting growing herbs for cooking. I think they've already paid for themselves!
