Justin & Wrenda brought Gavin by the hospital to meet his new cousin. He seemed really excited about seeing him and was very gentle around him. I love this picture - to me, it looks like Gavin already has some sort of plan of trouble and Warren is ready to follow:) Wrenda and I definitely have our hands full in the future!!

He's Finally Here!!!

Warren Scott finally arrived on August 18th at 9:02 p.m.!! He weighed 8lbs 7 oz and measured 20 1/4 inches long. His original due date was August 10th and I was supposed to be induced on August 15th but there were no rooms available at the hospital (apparently everyone and their sister were having babies this weekend:) We tried all weekend to get induce but the hospital will only make rooms available if you go into labor on your own, not induction. Luckily my water broke on it's own Monday morning at 2:20 a.m. So after about 19 hours of labor he was here - and it was all worth it! He's such a cute baby - not that I'm bias at all:) And for the most part, whenever he cries, it because he wants or needs something. Otherwise he's content just looking around or sleeping.

Updates

No news yet on when baby Warren will be making his arrival. I'm trying my best to be patient but for those of you who know me well, know that is not one of my best qualities:)
In other news, my friend Andrea had a beautiful baby girl, Avery Kate, on July 12th. She weighed 7 lbs 13 oz and had a full head of hair. I've been lucky enough to hang out with them a few times since they've come home and she's such a wonderful baby to be around.
Also, Alisa found out they are having a girl as well! So Warren's already got a few girlfriends lined up - just kidding:)
